Patient Arrival Policy
Going to the veterinarian's office can be strange and unnerving for many animals. For your protection, and that of others, have your canine friend leashed and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be contained in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. If you require special accommodation, please let or receptionist staff know in advance so that arrangements can be made.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A 'drop- off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. A small daycare fee will be added to your invoice for this convenient service. Once the doctor is finished examining your friend, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date whenever your pet is admitted for treatment or diagnostics. Occasionally the veterinarian will make exceptions based on your pet's immune system and health status. If your pet has received immunizations from another doctor, please bring proof (receipt or certificate) for our files. Remember we service healthy and ill pets and it is imperative that your pet be protected during their visit with us.
Payment Policy
An estimate will be provided for your approval prior to any non-routine procedures being performed and before your pet is admitted for treatment. A 50% deposit is required at the time of drop-off. Our doctors strive to keep your final bill within the estimate range, and will notify you immediately if additional services are needed.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and personal checks.
